Though I'm no longer a resident of California, I still have some curiosity about the upcoming recall election.
I found this list of certified candidates on the web.
There are currently 135 candidates running to replace Gray Davis as governor. Some notable names (though not all
necessarily who you think they are) are, Bob Dole, Michael Jackson and a few others that you may have heard of.

Our trip to California and Washington last month didn't go quite as planned.
Rhonda's car developed a bad fuel pump or maybe just a bad fuel pump relay when we stopped for a break in Seligman.
We had to have it towed to Prescott, the nearest VW service center, and waited about six hours before we found out what was
wrong. After learning that parts had to be ordered, we rented a car (provided at VW's expense) and continued on to
Fullerton, arriving late at night and very tired.
We had to cancel our plan to drive to Washington, because we only got the car for five days before it had to be returned in
Arizona, but the rest of our visit was very nice.
