MCC1 -- MIDI Clock Converter


MIDI Clock Converter The MCC1 converts MIDI timing clocks to a digital pulse output suitable for click tracks or for driving a tap-tempo device. The MIDI clock rate can be scaled by a selectable divisor to provide N* pulses per quarter note.

Specifications

  • Inputs: DC power in jack (120V AC adapter included), MIDI In DIN jack
  • Outputs: MIDI Thru DIN jack, pulse output 1/4 inch mono phone jack
  • Indicators: Green LED for power on, yellow LED lights with output pulse
  • Enclosure: 1.52 x 5.57 x 6.5 inches, steel and aluminum.
  • Pulse output: Normally low, open collector (with internally switchable pullup resistor). Pulse high time = 20ms. Emulates a normally closed tap tempo footswitch.
  • * User controls: Rate select toggle switches: Divide MIDI clock rate by the product of any combination of 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8
    (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96 or 192).
May also be ordered as an assembled circuit board without the enclosure and toggle switches for $79.
